"O" how we love Maryland, our state flag and our Chesapeake Bay blue crabs!  Maryland is more than a state, it's a state of mind!  Maryland has the most colorful and striking state flag, with it's red, yellow, black and white.  This mixed media art piece displays the flag that's embellished with a wee crowd of marching crabs behind the white areas (see them?) and the image of a live female crab, (a "sook") on top.
